A SPECIAL PLACE.
In a pocket created by the surrounding mountains, hidden between spruces, fir, ash, and beech, located at 950 meters above sea level, you find a wooden cabin named STUBN.
In summer characterised by the traditional sound of cow bells. In winter covered by the calming slow falling snowflakes. Reachable by foot, you will arrive just in time for a well-prepared meal, a refreshing drink, or a shelter for the night.
How to reach us.
BY FOOT
For the advanced hiker we recommend one of the routes from Aschau via Hofalm. For the relaxed hiker, we recommend the 50 minute easy hike from Lederstuben Parkplatz in Frasdorf.
BY CAR
If you plan to come by car you can park it at Lederstuben Parkplatz in Frasdorf and enjoy the hike to STUBN. If you are looking for a more advanced arrival, park your car at the Festhalle Parkplatz in Aschau and take one of the hikes from there.
Parking fees are not included, but at Lederstuben Parkplatz we have a number of reserved parking spots for overnighting guest.
OTHER TRANSPORTATION
If you arrive by plane, the nearest airports are Munich Airport and Salzburg Airport.
If you arrive with train, the nearest station is Aschau im Chiemgau and from there you can take a taxi to one of the preferred hikes.
